Arrowwood Summit is a One Day, 9 am – 8:30 pm camp experience for campers ages 8 – 14. We are excited to invite campers for a day of encouragement, exciting camp activities, and a day of being pointed to Jesus. Campers will love hanging out with our returning camp staff and will have the opportunity to ride horses, brave our giant swing, fish, canoe, play laser tag, play some sock war, roast some s’ mores, and many other camp favorites. Our goal is for campers to leave physically exhausted and spiritually refreshed. To ensure the maximum level of safety, our whole day will be spent outdoors. $65 includes two meals, our 2020 camper t-shirt, a camp face buff, and all activities! Join us.

While we were unable to offer overnight camp due to the overnight cabin proximity aspects of camp, Arrowwood Summit is an entirely outdoor experience that enables your camper to still visit Arrowwood this Summer.
We have wonderful outdoor open-air facilities. Campers will eat meals in our beautiful picnic pavilion and will be offered the opportunity to escape the summer heat in our huge open-air shelter gym.
Upon arrival, each camper will have their temperature taken by a staff member at drop-off. Following Tennessee guidance, parents will simply pull their car up; temperatures will be taken, and then the camper’s day begins. Campers will be required to wear face coverings (we’re giving them cool face buffs) while using the restroom or if they need to go indoors. All program equipment will be sanitized and cleaned frequently. At Arrowwood, our safety motto is “remember…safety 1st, 2nd and 3rd.”
What to Bring
We are providing each camper with a face buff covering and a 2020 camper t-shirt. Campers will be fed a wonderful lunch and dinner as well as some snacks. Horses and our slip n slide will be offered at the same time, so no need to bring both items off the list below.
-Medicines (if needed)
-Swimsuit & towel (if camper wants to do slip n slide)
-Jeans & socks (if camper wants to do horses) – boots will be provided
Money (camp store will be closed)
Anything valuable that you don’t want to lose! (we are unable to mail it back to you)
Questions and Answers
What can we expect from Arrowwood Summit?
Let’s first say what it’s not. Arrowwood Summit is not our 6 day / 5 night overnight camp. Arrowwood Summit is a wonderful opportunity for each camper to experience as much as we are able to offer in a little under 12 hours. For our programming, there will be three stations of activities. Campers will be divided into age groups with each rotating through three stations throughout the day. At each station two Camp Arrowwood favorites will be offered. When campers arrive at their activity station, they will be given a choice of which of the two activities they would like to do. Our stations are Slip n slide or Horses, High ropes or Shelter games, Laser tag or Canoeing/fishing.
When is drop-off and pick-up?
Drop-off: 9- 9:15 AM
Pick-up: 8:30 – 8:45 PM
Can I make sure that my child is in the same group as all of their friends?
We will do our best to accommodate siblings and friends who want to be together. After campers arrive at camp, we will quickly help them make new friends and then assign them their groups based on age for our activity periods. At that time, we will be able to move campers around if needed. We will do our best, but please realize that we will not spend 2 hours of a 12 hour day trying to keep a group of 16 campers together who might go to the same school or neighborhood. It would probably get split 8/8. We will absolutely make sure that you are with a buddy.
What’s the capacity of camp each day?
We are capping registration right around 60.
-If you are one of the families who were able to donate to camp from your overnight tuition, we are happy to make an adjustment and roll that amount to your Arrowwood Summit tuition.
-If you requested a full refund, we are currently processing those, and you should receive a check in the next five days. Consider Arrowwood Summit a whole new transaction.
