As parents, we long for connection and growth for our children and also feel the pain of needing to get them out of the house. At Arrowwood, we provide experiential growth-producing experiences for your homeschooler in a safe, beautiful, and intentional environment. We want to help your child grow in wisdom and knowledge of Jesus Christ and expand their horizons!
We want your school year to be a success, and we are here to help by providing your child with unforgettable experiences. We have accomplished our mission for 25 summers and want to help families during the school year!
Arrowwood Adventure Academy offers 1 day enrichment days in the Fall and Spring Semesters for your child on either specific Wednesdays or Thursdays, 10 am - 3 pm! We are open to children 7 - 14.
Weather Note - In case of inclement weather, we have a program make-up date at the end of the semester. We will operate in rain but cancel classes if we have severe storms or winds.
Activities Included:
Leadership Development, Teambuilding, and Ropes Course
Guided Nature Activities (We border GSMNP!)
Fishing and Lake Activities
Archery, Axe throwing
Woodturning, Laser Engraving
Music
Farm and Animal Experiences
Outdoor Living, Camping, Campfire Cooking

Details of each Day:
ARRIVAL 10:00 AM
Departure: 3:00 PM
Age Range: 7 - 14 years old (Students will be split into age-appropriate groups)
What to Bring: You will receive an email with specifics each week. You will need a water bottle, a packed lunch, closed-toe shoes, and an open heart to receive!
Price for Each Semester: Includes six-day programming!
- Thursday Academy: Five Program Days - $190 first child, $160 each additional
- Wednesday Academy: Five Program Days - $190 first child, $160 for each additional
NOTE - The Thursday classes run an identical program to the Wednesday classes. Choose whichever Academy is best for your family for the whole semester. If you have a scheduling conflict for a particular day, you can switch for one program day.

For our Spring 2025 classes, we are excited to offer a blend of some of our favorite activities and introduce new adventures to keep the journey fresh and engaging. On certain program days this Spring, students can choose from various activities for a more focused time.
2025 Spring Semester Dates and Registration
Registration opens on Tuesday, December 3rd, at 10 a.m. You are welcome to register for either the Wednesday or Thursday classes.

Yes, there is a participation fee for the program.
Adventure Academy Tuition $190 for the first child, $160 for each additional child.

Arrowwood Academy is led by Seth Houser, Esther Enns, Maria Bober, and the well-trained Camp Arrowwood and Wears Ranch staff and volunteers. All staff have completed training, have years of experience working with children in the outdoors, and have all been vetted through comprehensive background checks to ensure safety. We would love to talk to you about how we keep kids safe.

Our program is designed for the complete semester. Plus, we donβt want you to miss out on all that we have to offer! Group dynamics are important to us, so our goal is to serve the same great group of kids all semester.

Absolutely! At the end of the semester, your child will receive a certificate of participation to celebrate their growth and achievements.

You donβt need to be here. You are welcome to carpool or whatever works best for you.
While we encourage parental involvement, our program is designed for uninterrupted learning and interaction among our students and staff. You are welcome to observe from a distance, volunteer, relax in the National Park, or hang out in our Picnic Pavilion while your child participates. -
Attendees are welcome to bring their own sack lunch and a water bottle.
